How High Do You Want To Rise?

I believe everyone’s desire is to rise, we want to continue to increase, to see more of God’s blessings and favour. Rising to the top, being successful, and seeing more of God’s blessings do not just happen. They come about by being disciplined enough to pay the price to get them.

Psalms 1:1-3 tells us what the exact price is;

“Blessed is the man who walks mot in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters that brings forth its fruits in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he does shall prosper.”

Folks its clear, all of life is governed by laws. You cannot be hanging around with people who compromise and cheat on their spouses, and have no integrity and expect to rise. It has been said, that we are the average of the people we spend our time with. Take a moment and study the character of the people you associate with. Do not allow negative associations hold you back.

  1. Thank you for this. It’s not easy, but I am turning my life around and following God’s path that he laid for me. One day at a time.

    1. Thank you very much Veronica. God will help you in this new direction your life is taking. And remember a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step, and that’s what you’re doing now and that’s great. Sure, God will make your paths shine brighter and brighter until you get to perfection, just like He promised.
