God’s Waiting to Bless You

When I was a little boy attending Sunday School, I used to hear this song  in my classes a lot; “Cast your burdens unto Jesus for He cares for you…” as I grew older in the Scriptures, I discovered that the song was taken from a verse in the Bible “Casting all yours cares upon Him, for He cares for you.” Another says, “Cast your burdens unto the Lord for He will sustain you” in spite of all these assurances many of us are still holding unto our heavy burdens and refusing to let go even when our growth is being inhibited by them.

God has promised to sustain and help us if we cast our worries, stresses, anxiety, difficulties, problems, fears on Him but those of us who wouldn’t let go and are still holding unto our grieves, fears, and challenges in spite of these assurances and promises will be permitted to do us. I have come to discover that as merciful and all powerful as God is, He never imposes His blessings and gifts on anyone who isn’t willing to accept them.

Folks we have no reason to be stressed out and be anxious when we have an ever present helper. Never wait until you are almost passing out and giving up on life before you turn to God as the last resort. He is ever available. Our blessings have been freely offered to us, all we need do is freely receive them and live and have a blissful life here on earth.

Are you going through difficulties? Remember this, God is always waiting to be gracious to you. He is standing by to assist you. Live your greatest life!

  1. O what a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. That is what your post reminds me of, Vincent. Thank you.

  2. 1 Peter 5:7 is one of the Most Powerful verses on Trust. And I always tell my audience, that after mentioning our intention to God Once, IF WE DO NOT STOP PRAYING for our intentions again at least on that day, then that means We do not have Enough Trust!
