What’s Your Four-Minute Mile Barrier?

Before 1954, it was believed that no runner could ever break the four – minute mile barrier. But after Roger Bannister broke it, many more replicated his feat – within weeks. Why? Because he showed people what was possible. They got a new reference point. And then armed with that belief, people did the impossible.

Do you have a four – minute mile barrier in your own life? What lie have you bought about what is impossible for you? What false assumptions are you making about what you cannot have, be or do? The bible says, as a man thinks in his heart so he is. Your thinking creates your reality.

Jesus said, all things are possible for the person who believes. What do you believe about your life and your achievements? Your beliefs are self-fulfilling prophecies; if you believe you can’t make it, you won’t; if you believe that you will never become rich, you won’t. Because your beliefs drive your actions and you will always act in accordance to your beliefs.

You were created for greatness; to be fruitful and have dominion on earth. Are you fruitful? If you are not, it isn’t God’s fault; it is as a result of your small minded and impossibility thinking. You have been held back by the chains of your own negative imaginations. But you can be better. You can live your greatest life because whatever others have achieved, you too can achieve.

Dr Ben Carson, The famous American Neurosurgeon once said; “there is no such thing as an average human being; if you have a normal brain, you are superior.” You see, you have everything to be a genius in your field. God has placed inside you everything you will ever need to become great on the earth.

It doesn’t matter which country you are, or who your parents are reading this, you can become great, whatever greatness means for you. Napoleon Hill said, whatever the mind of man can conceive and get himself to believe, it can achieve. Give yourself the permission to succeed. All you need is just the ability to start thinking and believing possibilities.

Live your greatest life!
