The Bible instructs us as Christians that we should hold on to our confessions of faith but too often when we are faced with challenges most of us forget about our faith and “speak reality” little wonder the challenges keep increasing. In order to help us keep professing our faith and confessing positive things into our lives, here are 8 powerful affirmations and confessions to help us through challenges:

  1. “Never Again will I confess “I can’t,” “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4: 13 NAS).
  1. Never Again will I confess lack, for “My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19 NAS).
  1. Never Again will I confess fear, for “God hath not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline” (2 Timothy 1:7 NAS).
  1. Never Again will I confess doubt and lack of faith, for “…God has allotted to each a measure of faith” (Romans 12:3 NAS).

Watch Your Confessions

Most times when I meet people, 8 out of the ten sentences they make are complains about life; about not having what they want. They complain about having bills, not having the car or house of their dreams. Not having enough money, they complain about the society, the negative influences, their children, the weather etc.

Folks the more we talk about these things they more they increase in our lives. Some of us are making the laws of God work against us instead of working for us. The scripture says, “Ask and you shall receive, knock and the door shall be opened to you, seek and you shall find.” What have you been seeking? Problems, sicknesses, poverty, lack of opportunities? Yes you seek for these things when you talk more about them. Remember what you focus on will expand. Continue reading Watch Your Confessions

Aren’t you tired of people telling you SORRY?

3372060864_2e4c319a04_zAre you aware of the inner conversations going on in your mind? A lot of us really don’t mind what we tell ourselves. We are so used to things going backward; we have become so accustomed to failing that we think it is our second nature. But guys we are not meant to fail, and until you wake up from those thoughts, until you make a conscious and deliberate effort to alter your life course, things will never change.

When I was a young student in my Secondary school Physics class, I was taught the Newton’s law of Motion. One of them, the first law states that an object continues to be in a state of rest and an object in motion, continues in motion until an applied force acts on it. So you see your life will continue to be the way it is, you will continue to experience disappointments; keep failing in business and life until you do something about it.

Nothing works on their own without some effort. And you can’t do anything about your life until you first realize that something is wrong in the first place. I remember in 2012 I had been having a series of challenges. Years after graduating from school, I still didn’t have a meaningful job, I was living with my parents and very broke. Powerful, Positive Confessions

When you are faced with a problem all you need do is seek for the solution. But too often when we are faced with life’s difficulties and challenges, rather than seek a way out, many of us increase these negative situations through the words we confess with our mouth. We amplify our challenges, problems, negative circumstances, sicknesses by confessing them in the state they are.

Folks we create our world with the words we speak. If you want to have a world filled with happiness, then we have to think happy thoughts and speak happiness to ourselves and others.
As Christians we see that When God was faced with a challenge during creation, He spoke what he wanted into existence. We can do the same, by applying the principles found the Bible, to recreate our circumstances.
