Do you think someone has to approve of the things you do before you do them? Are you constantly trying to please others in your relationships, jobs, business even when you are hurting inside? Then you may be voluntarily enslaving yourself.
Too many people today are slaves to the thinking and actions of others. They strain themselves to do things simply because others do them, they let other people’s opinions define who they are and become.
If you find yourself in this situation, where you are in constant need of the validation of others, then you should immediately listen to this audio specially made for you, to break you free from the slavery you have voluntarily brought yourself into. It will inspire you to find your own voice or image in a world where people are drowning in the oceans of others opinion of them.
Feel free to share it with someone you know – you may be saving a life!
Most of us think of the wonderful things we would do if we could only get rid of the worries, the annoyances, the disturbances that prick us day by day, as well as the things that defeat our ambitions – the failures, the disappointments, the heartbreaks, the blunders, the setbacks that continually tend to befall us and discourage us.
Yet the real test of our strength is whether we will fulfil our purposes; carry out our life plan and become successful in spite of all the things that are apparently trying to hold us down, or, whether we will allow ourselves to be overcome by the hindrances that slow the steps of everyone going after their dreams.
For how long will you whine and carry a long, sad face giving the world the impression that your life has been full of disappointments? For how long will you keep telling your woe stories, that you haven’t achieved your goals because of the setbacks that you have experienced this year?
For how long are you going to let your troubles and trials, challenges and annoyances which happen to every career and everyone, keep you down? For how long will you keep allowing disappointments and failures to worry and devitalize you that you cannot do the biggest thing possible to you? Are you going to be a victim of your troubles and trials in spite of your divine possibilities? Continue reading How to Deal with a Challenging Life→
What is the most important reward you get for the work you do? Is the money, the fame, the spotlight, the huge following? As for me, while the money I get helps me keep doing living my mission and meeting my personal needs. The ultimate reward I get is the joy I derive in serving others; in being able to put a smile on someone’s face, in being able to inspire another soul to reach for their greatness through my videos, my books, my podcasts or this blog.
We are all called to do different things for God folks. You see not all of us can follow the path that leads like the Indian’s trail from mountain peak to mountain peak. Many of us walk through lowlands, unseen, and unheard of. Not many of us will have the huge followers, and grace the front pages of leading magazines, but maybe it will only be our families and communities that recognize the work we do. But folks, whatever you have been called to do, just keep doing it faithfully because we are all working for the Master.
While you may not be honoured and appreciated for the work you do, while you may be constantly criticised, and bashed by internet trolls, and other people who don’t understand your part, if you stay faithful to God and the work you do, you will have an unseen Friend in God always beside you. Are you wondering or you are ordering? Too many people go from the cradle to the grave without discovering their true selves, purpose, or gifts. They go from job to job, business to business, living unfulfilled and unproductive lives.
The greatest moment in life is the moment you discover your inner powers, and strive to be the man or woman God created you to be.
This inspiring, reflective episode shares with you the importance of finding your inner true self and living your greatest life.
Take a listen, download, and kindly share it with others.
Do you have a definite purpose in life? A lot of people don’t. They just take whatever life brings to them. They work on the first job that becomes available, date the first girl/guy that says ‘yes’ to them.
Too many people are drifters. Drifting from job to job, relationship to relationship, from one failed marriage to the other, from one city to the other…in search of a better life.
Unfortunately, life expects you to have a clearly defined purpose. If you don’t know where you are going, how will you know if or when you have arrived?
The life you are living in this moment is the one you have created. If you don’t like it, it simply means you didn’t take the time to define how your future should look like.
In this video, I shared on why you must have a clearly defined purpose, and how that affects your success in life.
Take a moment to watch it, and also share it with others you know. Let me know your thoughts.
When you have chosen a good purpose and certain you have chosen well and wisely, focus on making it work. Bend your best energies to it. This is where a lot of us fail; we don’t focus long enough and work hard enough to make our dreams and goals come through. And as a result we are easily distracted from our calling by the many influences around.
In the pursuit of your life purpose daily, you will find people and situations seeking to compete for your time and thoughts. You must protect yourself against them. They are “dream stealers.” Lots of people have failed in making their dreams come true because of these distractions.
Make your resolutions so clear and firm that nothing can lure you from your chosen path of purpose and duty. Don’t sit around dreaming about your future, get up and start doing something about that future. Don’t sit around wishing for a better opportunity or life, get up and start achieving those things you desire.
Greatness is achieved through obsessive focus on your dreams/purpose.
Ever heard the phrase, “If you cannot do what you like, then like what you do.” That is one of the secrets of a truly successful life. In life you may be sometimes required to do things you don’t like; jobs that are below your qualifications, assignments that are far inferior to you. If you are in this position remember the phrase above and a message in scripture that says, whatever you find to do, do it with all your heart as on to God.
If you are presently finding it difficult to achieve success in any area of your life, just trust God who is able to make a way for you. Have faith in God and take whatever he gives you; believe that you can succeed; be willing to fail if He wants you to have the discipline of failure.
