You Can Succeed The Way You Are!

Recently I have caught myself in the act of always thinking about the things I lacked. I will focus on the things going bad and wrong within me instead of my dreams and goals thereby stalling in my achievements. I believe I am not alone in this. There are some of us who when thinking and considering their lives, all they can see is the many unpaid bills, the debts, the divorces, the failed relationships, their negative habits, and so on.

Many of us are not being helped by the overly righteous friends and relationships we keep who are unfailing in their self imposed responsibilities of pointing the many blemishes that are in our lives, and painting a saintly image of themselves.

Folks if you find yourself in this situation where you all you can see about you are negatives do not worry, as there isn’t anyone who is too good that there isn’t any bad in them, or too bad that there isn’t any good in them.

There is nothing wrong with your negativities and shortcomings. We human beings are told by others that our negativities are our defeat. When you start to label your feelings, emotions, and activities as being negative by others’ standards, you are judging yourself according to others’ standards. Show Yourself Some Love

One of the worst things you can do, is to go through life being against yourself. But is what happens in our world today. A lot of us have a war going on inside us. We don’t like who we are. We look ourselves in the mirror and say words like; I am fat and ugly, I am dumb, I am stupid, I am unattractive, I am never good enough. We condemn ourselves with words that we can’t use on other people.

The reason why you are stuck, why you can’t get along in your relationships, why you have those health issues, why you are so insecure, and nothing seem to be working in your life is because you don’t love who you are. You are not at peace with who you are.

God commands us to love others as we love ourselves. So for you to love other people you must first learn how to love yourself. It is the measure of love that we have inside of us that we would give out to others. You can’t treat others right and love them if you don’t have self-love. When you love yourself, you will love others, and they would in turn love you. That is the way it works.

You may have some faults. You may have things in your life you don’t like and you wish you could change. We all do. In fact according to science, there is no perfect animal specimen. Every human skeleton has some fault. You are not alone in this, so start loving and accepting yourself the way you are. The Bible tells us that You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are God’s custom design. He specifically designed you to fit a particular purpose. There is only one You.
If things are not working for you right now, rather than beat yourself up, and condemn yourself, why don’t you consult your maker? He has the solution to your every needs, He knows where to fix and touch in your life. Hear his words;

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart…For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
