Made For Greatness

“One of the greatest curses of the world is the belief in the necessity of poverty. Most people have a strong conviction that some must necessarily be poor; that they are made to be poor. But there was no poverty, no want, no lack, in the Creator’s plan for man.”

The Bible says; “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof”. The earth is full of resources we haven’t yet touched. We have been poor in the midst of abundance, we have failed when success is attainable, and we have lived mediocre lives when greatness is possible, because of our limiting thoughts and beliefs.

You see, “As a man thinks in his heart so is he”. It has also been said that “thoughts are things, and they are incorporated into the life and form part of our character.” So if we harbour the thoughts of fear, the thoughts of lack, the thoughts of poverty, thoughts of failure, thoughts of mediocrity, like magnets, we begin to attract these negative things into our lives.

You were created to be fruitful, to multiply, to have dominion on the earth, not to have a hard time getting a living. You weren’t created to squeeze along; to get together a few comforts, to spend about all your time “making a living instead of making a life” – You were made for greatness!

Today decide that you will turn your back on the thoughts and ideas of poverty, lack, failure, fear, worry, struggles. Instead you will expect success, prosperity and greatness, and that you will hold these thoughts in your mind, and try to daily live in the realization of your desires; to act it until you become, to imitate until you emulate and possess greatness.

The truth is, “we live in our own worlds, we are creations of our own thoughts. Each builds his own world by his thought habit.” You can surround yourself with an atmosphere of abundance, or of lack; of success, or of failure; of plenty, or of want; of greatness, or of mediocrity.
